THIS WOMAN'S WORK: MAXWELL TO PERFORM AT L.A. MARCH

Grammy award-winning R&B superstar Maxwell will be performing at the Women's March Los Angeles this Saturday, 1/20, following up his performance a year ago at the 2017 Women's March On Washington.

Maxwell will be joined onstage by the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles. Jennifer Hudson, Idina Menzel, Andra Day and Rachel Platten are also slated to lend their voices and perform.

This year's march is part of a national movement to unify and empower those who stand for women’s rights, human rights, civil liberties and social justice for all.

Focusing on the mid-term elections in November and encouraging participants to use their vote in order to help build a government that reflects their ideals, among the guest speakers confirmed for the rally are Scarlett Johansson, Laverne Cox, Tony Goldwyn, Megan Mullally, Olivia Munn, Larry Wilmore, Alfre Woodard and more.

Last year’s inaugural Women’s March was a huge success with an incredible 750k Angelenos coming together for the cause.
