A RICH NEW GIG FOR ISAACSON (UPDATE)

Industry vet Rich Isaacson, best known as a key player in the saga of LOUD Records, has taken a high-ranking gig at Def Jam. He starts today as EVP/GM. The New York native has most recently been overseeing his own management shop, RI Entertainment (with clients including MIKA and Gustavo Santaolalla); he and longtime friend/partner/LOUD founder Steve Rifkind are also partners in Merokee Music, a publishing JV with Rondor, as well as the hip-hop-heavy VOCO pubco.
