CMA AWARDS SHUFFLE iTUNES CHARTS

Wednesday’s CMA Awards pushed the needle at iTunes for several winners and performers, among them Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, Brothers Osborne and Thomas Rhett.

“Female” (Hit Red/Capitol Nashville), the ballad about respecting women that Urban released Wednesday and performed on the show, shot straight to #1. His Single of the Year winner, “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” is up to #14.

Male Vocalist honoree Stapleton sees his Album of the Year winner From a Room Vol. 1 (Mercury Nashville) rise to #2 from #11 prior to the telecast on the albums chart, while his “Broken Halos” is #5 on the songs tally. His debut, Traveller, is up to #11 from #28.

Brothers Osborne, who took home the Vocal Duo and Music Video trophies, are #6 at albums with Pawn Shop (EMI Nashville), which was not in the Top 100 prior to the show, and #3 on songs with “It Ain’t My Fault.”

Rhett’s new single, “Unforgettable” (BMLG), which he performed on the telecast rose to #10 from #46; “The Rest of Our Life,” Tim McGraw & Faith Hill’s duet (Arista/McGraw), sprang up to #11 from outside the Top 100.

The Weight of These Wings (Vanner/RCA Nashville), the album that helped propel Miranda Lambert to a Female Vocalist of the Year win, is up 53 slots to #8; Little Big Town’s The Breaker (Capitol Nashville) is up to #14 from #59 on the heels of their CMA performances.
