BMG SCORES WITH FOUR

BMG is celebrating having four simultaneous Top 10 chart hits in the U.S. That's the most entries they've had in a single week since entering the record business four years ago.

The sets include Big K.R.I.T.'s 4eva Is A Mighty Long Time (BMG)—his third Top 10 album, which debuted at #2 on the Independent Albums chart, #3 on Digital Albums, #5 on Album Sales, #4 on Rap Albums, #5 on R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and #7 on the Top 200. The other three are Hollywood Undead’s FIVE (BMG), Granger Smith's When The Good Guys Win (Wheelhouse Records/BMG), which notably bowed at #2 on the Country chart, and Hanson’s yuletide album Finally It’s Christmas (S-Curve/BMG).

“Four simultaneous Top 10 hits is an incredible milestone for our recordings business," shared BMG U.S. President Repertoire & Marketing Zach Katz. "Significantly they are all in quite different genres. What started as a concept to be the solution for modern day recording artists has grown into a proven ecosystem where artists are partners in their own success. I would like to congratulate Big K.R.I.T., Hollywood Undead, Granger Smith and Hanson on their achievements. We are truly proud to be working with them.”

On a related note, we HITS folk recently celebrated learning to count past the number four.
