TAY: NO FIRST-WEEK STREAMING?

Bloomberg and other outlets are reporting that Taylor Swift will hold back her Big Machine/BMLG album reputation from streaming services for at least a week after its 11/10 release. The story, citing sources who requested anonymity, says negotiations are still underway with the streameries as to when reputation will come online. It also acknowledges that Team Swift could well change course at any time between now and release.

Of course, four tracks already released from the album are available for streaming on Spotify now.

While the story is being widely quoted, other sources claim that a decision has yet to be made on streaming.

Believe what you will, but expect plenty more drama between now and Friday.
