Manager and Faculty man Jared Paul has launched a new project, entitled Happy Place. The pop-up experience—created with the goal of providing a safe place filled with messages of light and love—is coming to Downtown Los Angeles on 11/20.
“I want to live and raise my children in a world surrounded by what makes us happy. With the amount of unfortunate events happening recently, I believe that our world as a whole can use more happiness,” explained Paul. “To make this dream come true, we set out on a journey to create a special place filled with smiles and laughter for all.”
According to the project's website, once on location, attendees can do things like climb a giant birthday cake, dance in the world’s largest confetti dome and jump off a rainbow into a pot of happiness (AKA things you normally only experience after two handfuls of THC gummy worms).
Oh, and fret not, dear phone-clutchers; photos are greatly encouraged. Just think of the playground as your own personal selfie center. Your Instagram followers won't know what's hit 'em.
Pre-sale tickets for American Express cardholders will be up for purchase on 11/3.
With 20k square feet and 13 family-friendly rooms, this is set up to be the talk of the town, especially considering the mind-boggling success of similar installation The Museum of Ice Cream. Following the latter's triumph in Los Angeles, its San Francisco extension sold-out in less than half an hour. The Los Angeles Ice Cream operation has been extended twice, remains sold-out and is now running through October. Our point? If interested, you might want to run, not walk.
