YOUNG AT HEART

Right Hand Music/RCA’s 19-year-old breakout Khalid receives a plaque marking the platinum certification of his album, American Teen, inspiring a group of industry professionals to assemble in a room and recall their own teenage years. We note with some pride that by the time we were Khalid’s age we had almost perfected the art of making an apple into a pipe.

Seen noting that youth is wasted on the young are (l-r) SVP Urban Promo Samantha Selolwane, EVP/GM Joe Riccitelli, EVP John Fleckenstein, manager Courtney Stewart, Khalid, Chairman/CEO Peter Edge, SVP A&R Tunji Balogun, EVP A&R Keith Naftaly, SVP Sales Jordan Blaugrund, VP Urban Marketing Shani Fuller-Tilman and EVP Urban Promo Geo Bivins.
