It was rumored here months ago, but Justin Timberlake finally made it official Sunday that he'll be returning to the Super Bowl halftime show.
JT made the announcement in a tweet featuring a goofy skit with him and Jimmy Fallon, ending with both jumping up and down excitedly like teenage girls at the news. He then made appearances on NBC's Football Night in America and during halftime of the network's Sunday Night Football rematch of Super Bowl 2017 opponents the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons.
The game will be broadcast on NBC on 2/4/2018 from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
The RCA superstar is expected to drop a new album early in 2018.
Considering Timberlake's long sketch history with Fallon, this is no doubt just the beginning of these two having fun with the biggest sporting event of the year.
