PANDORA THINKS BIG WITH "LITTLE"

Pandora
has partnered with non-profit Little Kids Rock to launch the 20 new music-education programs in the Oakland Unified School District. Little Kids Rock will educate Oakland teachers on their "Modern Band" curriculum. They'll also help to connect educators with resources, instruments and the tools they'll need to launch the program in their schools.

“Music education is a vital component of any child’s learning experience,” said President and CEO of Pandora, Roger Lynch. “We’re proud to partner with Little Kids Rock and Oakland Unified to ensure every child in Oakland has access to music education and instruments, and to help foster the next generation of musicians and fans.”

An event celebrating the launch of the partnership is due to take place tomorrow (10/13) at 9am PT at Oakland's Westlake Middle School.
