GOING MOBILE: SPOTIFY FOR ARTISTS

Spotify has announced the launch of its new Spotify for Artists mobile app on iOS. The app, which was developed in conjunction with 100 artists who advised the streamery on features, lets artists track their streams in real time and gather data on audiences for career-planning purposes. Followers, meanwhile, will automatically get an artist’s music in algorithmic playlists and gig alerts.
