Ken Bunt: Couldn't stop smiling if he wanted to.

BUNT'S HOME RUNS

When it comes to soundtracks, Ken Bunt’s Disney kingdom is working the magic. While the new Descendants 2 set has flown to #2 at iTunes, the indefatigable Moana continues to sell albums (728k) and tracks (2.1m) and has earned 550m+ streams; its SPS is now 1.3m. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has about 400k SPS domestically (14m streams), while Beauty and the Beast nears the 500k mark (with 134m streams); Beauty and Guardians are both at the 1 million mark worldwide.

It’s important to note that Guardians 1 and 2 would have massive SPS numbers if the classic rock and pop chestnuts they contain didn’t count toward the original albums they appeared on.

Before 2017 ends, Disney will also have ST albums for the 3D animated “Land of the Dead” adventure CoCo and a little thing called the new Star Wars movie. May the cha-ching be with you.

Ken would love to chat with us about all this, but his phone keeps turning into a light saber.
