SILVERLAKE CONSERVATORY BENEFIT:
THEY LOVE L.A.

This year's gala fundraiser for The Silverlake Conservatory of Music will take place on 9/9 and, for the first time, in the lovingly restored new space at 4652 Hollywood Blvd. The event will be co-hosted by Conservatory pillars Flea and Anthony of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and will feature legendary singer/songwriter/composer Randy Newman as headlining performer.

There will also be food, a silent auction and schmoozing galore, as attendees raise funds for one of the city's most distinctive sources of music instruction (and yes, some of us have taken classes there). Plus, if you show up early enough, you can catch a solo recital on the accordion by attorney Eric Greenspan.

Seating in the new space is extremely limited—and provided on a first come, first served basis—so book your table now. For sponsorship and other information, contact SCM Director Jennifer Rey at (323) 665-3363 or email [email protected].
