TAG THEY'RE IT: SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Ki: Theory’s industrial rendition of the Ben E. King hit “Stand By Me” is this week’s biggest mover on the Shazam USA Top 100 chart. So why is a 2013 cover doing so well?

The Kringer Records release, which now has 1.5m streams on Spotify, appeared on a July episode of AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead, helping push it up 141 slots to #60.

Otherwise, the Top 5 movers are all new singles, starting with 21 Savage’s “Bank Account” (Slaughter Gang/Epic), which is up 112 spaces. Jay-Z’ “4:44” (Roc Nation), Demi Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry” (Island) and Kesha’s “Praying” (Kemosabe/RCA) are also getting phones pointed at speakers. Beth’s “Torn,” Grace Grundy’s “Sexual” and Sleeping at Last’s cover of the Kelly Clarkson hit “Already Gone” top the leaderboard in the U.K.
