THE DEATH OF PRINT JOURNALISM: LOGIC AND MIKE

Def Jam’s Logic, who graces the cover of our recent print edition, has soared into the limelight with his new set, Everybody, which is currently in a fierce duel for #1 on our SPS chart. The album boasts some key guest spots and an intensely fan-driven rollout (including a powerful partnership with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline). Still, he may feel that appearing on the cover of our mag defies all Logic.

Our Contents Page VIP, meanwhile, is UMG Nashville topper Mike Dungan, who’ll be honored with the Presidential Award at the Music Biz confab in Music City. Dungan, the subject of an interview that will appear on this site very soon, has been on an extraordinary run of late, including massive successes from Keith Urban, Sam Hunt, Dierks Bentley and more, the signing of superstar Carrie Underwood and a new set from breakout Chris Stapleton (who's also vying for the top spot on our chart). That’s a lot to toast, but the exec may be drinking to forget after finding out he’s appearing in our sorry rag.
