U.K. CHARTS: DJ KHALED'S "ONE" TO #1

DJ Khaled has secured his first U.K. chart topper with “I’m The One” (Black Butter/Def Jam) on 23k downloads and 5.1m streams. By our count, it's the first singles #1 for Black Butter (led by Henry Village and Joe Gossa) since the label was acquired by Sony in 2014.

Had the albums chart in Blighty been based on physical and download sales this week, Gorillaz would be #1 with Humanz (Parlophone). Instead, the virtual band settle for second place behind the king of streaming, Ed Sheeran. ÷ (Atlantic) has been at #1 on the Official Albums Chart for nine consecutive weeks—it's Sheeran's longest stint at the top after x spent eight weeks there in 2011. Humanz is Gorillaz fourth Top 10 album.

Rag’n’Bone Man’s Human (Columbia) holds firm at #3, Tears On The Dancefloor (Steps Music) by Steps is #4, and Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. (Polydor) drops one spot to #5.

On the Official Singles Chart, Khaled’s collab with Justin Bieber, Quavo of Migos, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne is the first #1 from an international artist in seven months; the last was Chainsmokers with “Closer” in September.

Clean Bandit’s “Symphony” (Atlantic) is #2, followed by Sheeran’s “Shape of You” at #3. Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee rise 18 places to #4 with the new version of “Despacito” (Polydor) f/ Justin Bieber. Sheeran closes the Top 5 with “Galway Girl.”

Other high risers include “Unforgettable” (Black Butter) by French Montana f/Swae Lee up 12 spots to #12 and Cheat Codes f/Demi Lovato’s “No Promises” (Parlophone) jumping 13 to a new peak at #26.
