FRANKLY, MY DEAR, THAT'S FUCKING RIDICULOUS

The Houston mayor’s office has received several complaints about a billboard for a smash hip-hop album and ordered it to be taken down immediately, though it’s due to run through 5/7.

So what’s the problem—nudity? Violent imagery? Misogyny? Nope, nope and nope. The problem is the title of Kendrick Lamar’s hugely successful, highly acclaimed TDE/Interscope set, DAMN.

That’s right, the word DAMN, in 2017, is causing outrage in Houston. You know, of all the things that one might be outraged about at this particular moment.

Folks are getting exercised about a word that was controversial when Clark Gable uttered it at the end of Gone With the Wind (spoiler alert).

Sources at Interscope say no other market has complained. It’s the darndest thing.
