X-RAY'S VISION

The U.K. agency X-ray has entered an equal joint partnership with Paradigm and Ron Burkle’s Yucaipa in the U.S. The deal finds the agency retaining 50% of the company, which will retain its distinctive moniker and will reportedly continue to operate as usual.

X-ray's huge roster includes Chance the Rapper, Eminem, Coldplay, Linkin Park, Green Day, The Offspring, Elle King and many more.

Paradigm now boasts Ed Sheeran, Skrillex, Imagine Dragons, Solange, Lorde, Phish, The Black Keys, Sara Bareilles, Dave Matthews Band , among other major artists. The company recently beefed up its operation by joining forces in 2015 with The Windish Agency and AM Only. Their moves in the music space are clearly designed to shorten the gap between giants CAA and WME and the rest of the field, including UTA, which acquired The Agency Group in 2015.

It’s believed that the new arrangement will widen the global opportunities for its acts in TV/film, sponsorships and other arenas. Expect official word sometime in the next week or so.
