COUNTRY MEETS SAND & SURF IN FLORIDA

More than 100,000 people donned sunscreen and sandals for the fifth annual Tortuga Music Festival, which featured performances from Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Alan Jackson, Nelly, Slightly Stoopid and Maren Morris.

Held at Ft. Lauderdale Beach Park in Florida, event producer Huka Entertainment calls it country music's biggest beach party.

"It's a tremendous feeling to see Tortuga grow it's fifth year in a row," said Evan Harrison, CEO, Huka Entertainment. "The energy from the artists and fans fueled by our festive beach setting truly create a magical experience."

Among this year’s highlights were Old Dominion joining Chesney for "Save It For A Rainy Day"; Stapleton performing four new songs; and Darius Rucker covering Prince's "Purple Rain."

During the festival, several beach clean-ups were completed and festival-goers learned about local marine life and ocean conservation efforts.
