FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Like winter clearly giving way to spring, this flipover Friday declares there’s a new season in the air: 10 new albums take over the iTunes Top 10, led by The Chainsmokers and Pentatonix. Meanwhile, Harry Styles’ debut “Sign of the Times” (Columbia) promptly goes to #1 on the singles side.

The debut full-length from The Chainsmokers, Memories Do Not Open (Disruptor/Columbia), lights up at #1 on iTunes and #13 at Apple Music. Pentatonix’ PTX, Vol. IV—Classics (RCA), which includes the Grammy-winning duet with Dolly Parton, “Jolene,” harmonizes at #2.

Starlight (Live), the self-released album from Christian act Bethel Music, alights at #3.

Joey Bada$$All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ (Pro-Era/Cinematic Music) opens at #4 on iTunes and has the highest debut at Apple Music today, coming in at #7. Father John Misty’s third album, Pure Comedy (Sub Pop), debuts at #5 on the heels of his Saturday Night Live performance early in March.

The deluxe edition of the fourth album from Vegas rockers Falling In Reverse, Coming Home (Epitaph) hits #6 followed by K.Flay’s Every Where is Some Where (Night Street/Interscope) at #7.

A collection of collaborations with Tech N9ne, Dominion (Strange Music) is #8; the Arizona band The Maine sees Lovely Little Lonely (8123) settle in at #9; and Cold War KidsLA Divine (CWKTWO/Capitol) plants its flag at #10.
