KATY TO PERFORM NEW SONG AT GRAMMYS (UPDATE)

Capitol megastar Katy Perry will hit the Grammy stage to perform her new single, “Chained to the Rhythm” f/Skip Marley, which is due to drop Thursday 9pm PT/midningt ET Friday. Perry and Sia co-wrote the song, which Max Martin produced. The newly blond Perry confirmed the rumors by retweeting the Recording Academy’s confirmation.

On Tuesday, a promotional billboard was unveiled, and she tweeted out this tease for the new track and clip:

Wednesday morning (2/8), Perry rallied her fans with a "plot twist" in the form of a musical treasure hunt, complete with a worldwide map that outlines all the locations where you can hear the new single—just locate the disco ball doubling as a listening station. Fans have been tweeting pics all morning from various locations including Leicester Square, London, Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto, in front of the Moulin Rouge in Paris and the hiking trail up to Griffith Park Observatory, among the multitudes of spots to check out the exclusive preview of "Chained To The Rhythm."
