Chance the Rapper, Little Big Town, who will be in the Grammys’ Bee Gees tribute, and a duet between soul legend William Bell, who returned to Stax Records last year after a 42-year absence, and guitarist Gary Clark Jr. will be on the Grammy Awards telecast.
"As fans' access to music has increased, so has their appetite for variety expanded. This year's lineup already reflects that—and we're still not done!," said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of the Recording Academy, who chose to use the exclamation point in the announcement. Sturgill Simpson will also perform.
Chance is up for Rap Album, Best New Artist, Rap/Sung Performance and Rap Performance; he's also nominated three times in the Rap Song category ("Ultralight Beam," "No Problem," and" Famous").
Bell is nominated for Traditional R&B Performance and Americana Album. Simpson is nominated for Album of the Year and Country Album.
