Capitol’s trip into Paul McCartney’s vault has yielded a gem of a duet with Elvis Costello, recorded during the Flowers in the Dirt sessions. The demo recording of "Twenty Fine Fingers"—bootleggers have long called it “25 Fingers”—in which Paul & Elvis test their Phil & Don Everly impulses, will be part of the reissue of Flowers in the Dirt, which comes out 3/24. Check it out here.
Flowers in the Dirt, originally released in June 1989, will be released in several formats including a deluxe box set with previously unreleased demos, unseen archival video,a notebook of Paul’s handwritten lyrics and notes and a 112-page hardcover book.
