MUSEUM PIECE

Following the band’s interview/acoustic performance in the Clive Davis Theater at downtown L.A.’s Grammy Museum, the alt-rock gods of Weezer join Crush Music co-founder Jonathan Daniel and Grammy Foundation/MusiCares VP Scott Goldman for a quick photo op. The band’s mini-set included songs from their recent, highly regarded (white) self-titled album as well as classic “Buddy Holly.” Earlier in the evening, everyone enjoyed a rousing accidental fire drill involving flashing lights and recorded voices that couldn’t be shut off. The band is said to be writing a concept album around the incident.
