FANS "MERCY"

New today: “Mercy,” the fourth track from Shawn Mendes’ sophomore album, Illuminate (Island, 9/23). It’s streaming wide and is presently #30 and rising at the iTunes Store, where “Treat You Better,” the first Illuminate single, is now priced at 69 cents; it’s presently #3. Mendes mobilized fans on social media last week, so it shouldn’t take long for “Mercy” to ignite.

Mendes, 18, will premiere Illuminate live 9/10 at Madison Square Garden.
