FLIPOVER FRIDAY: iTUNES AND
NEW MUSIC NOTES

The first studio album since late 2013 from American/Republic’s The Avett Brothers, True Sadness, surges to #1 on iTunes on the day of its release as one of five newcomers to the Top 10 album chart.

Top newcomers on the Friday morning flipover include Peach Panther’s Riff Raff (Neon Nation Corporation), Energia from reggaetonero J Balvin, a Colombian who records for Capitol Latin and DJ Shadow’s The Mountain Will (Reconstruction Productions). Conscious from Capitol’s electro-pop duo Broods rounds out the early results.

Twenty one pilots gets a second song in the Singles Top 10 with “Heathens,” the first single from the Suicide Squad soundtrack album.
