EPICFEST GETS ITS GROOVE ON

This weekend sees the return of EpicFest, L.A. Reid’s West Coast music confab, headlined by hip-hop luminaries Future and DJ Khaled and featuring Alt-rock breakouts KONGOS as well as Yo Gotti, Jidenna and more (see graphic for full lineup). The latest staging of the ambitious yearly event kicks off at 4pm on Saturday (6/25) at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City.

EpicFest’s corporate partners include Apple, Coca-Cola, Twitter, Patron, Shake Shack and Red Bull, while Concern Worldwide U.S.—which works with the world’s poorest denizens to build a sustainable future—is the nonprofit partner.

Among the expected attendees are Jimmy Iovine, Lorne Michaels, the Dallas CowboysKeith Smith and a brace of artists including Usher, Rick Ross, Ne-Yo, Big Boi and Casey Veggies.

Last year's fest prompted 1k+ attendees to defy the heat and see Ozzy Osbourne, Future, Big Grams, Travi$ Scott and more. This year, organizers expect the audience to be more than double that.

Of course, Reid himself—on a hot streak with Meghan Trainor, Fifth Harmony, Khaled, KONGOS, Kent Jones and Zara Larsson—will be relocating to the West Coast himself to launch the official West Coast office of Epic.
