MEDIABASE STANDINGS AT MIDYEAR: THE "HEY BUDDY" STATS

As you'll have noted from a preceding series of items, the Mediabase midyear chart share stats are in. Republic has the #1 overall spot as well as Pop, Rhythmic and Hot AC, while Def Jam makes a strong showing to squeak past RCA for second place overall, as well as #2 berths at Pop and Rhythm and the lead at Urban. Team Nipper also rules at Alternative. Epic, meanwhile, makes strong strides, scoring a 12.8 share at Urban and a year-best 10.1 at Rhythmic.
