BLINK IF YOU'VE MISSED THEM

Alt-rock standard-bearers Blink-182 are making a rather impressive run on the iTunes singles chart with "Bored to Death," the lead single from forthcoming set California (BMG), due 7/1 and now in pre-order. The song is #13 as of this writing, sitting between tracks by Beyoncé and Prince.

The song is very much in line with Blink's best-known material, though the band now boasts a new guitarist/singer, Matt Skiba. And for those of you who are numerologically inclined—you know who you are—7/1 is the 182nd day of the year.
