MTV STRUGGLES ON

Unfortunately, MTV continues to struggle under Doug Herzog's leadership. Recent coverage of a major event in music drew some strongly negative comments, including:

“This is terrible—like, cable access terrible.” “This is awful!” “the irrelevance of MTV could not be more obvious.” “They need to change their name to BSTV.”

Sadly, the network that helped make Prince a household word offered coverage with no music, no clips and no photos of one of the most vibrant artists in the history of pop.
