THE DEATH OF PRINT JOURNALISM: DIVAS DELUXE

Alessia Cara graces the cover of our latest print edition. Cara, now growing at radio with the follow-up to her platinum smash on Steve Bartels' Def Jam, is a new and developing artist who's proving she's "Here" to stay. though now that she's been on the cover of our misbegotten rag, "Here" is probably the last place she wants to be.

Epic's Best New Artist Grammy winner Meghan Trainor, meanwhile, is our Contents Page VIP. Trainor is exploding at retail and radio with new single "NO," the lead track from her forthcoming sophomore full-length, due in May. It's another coup for L.A. Reid's label, as Todd Glassman and team rack up the adds at radio. Trainor, whose debut set has done 2.4 million TEA, is a fitting contents subject for our New & Developing Artists issue, though appearing in it is probably one thing she wishes she had said "NO" to.
