Island’s Mike Posner is battling WB’s Lukas Graham for the top spot on this week’s Official Singles Chart with his comeback track “I Took a Pill in Ibiza.” Posner is just 3k in combined sales behind the Danish band’s smash “7 Years” at the halfway point of the chart week.
“I Took a Pill in Ibiza,” which recently topped the new Official Trending Chart, is Posner’s first U.K. single in five years; his collab with Cher Lloyd, “With Ur Love,” peaked at #4.
Zara Larsson’s “Lush Life” (Epic) moves up one slot to #3, while Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home” (SYCO/Epic) climbs #11-4, just above Rihanna’s “Work.”
Republic’s Ariana Grande is on track to become this week’s highest-charting debut with “Dangerous Woman,” and ZAYN’s “Like I Would,” from his upcoming RCA album Mind of Mine, sits at #25.
