SXSW 2016: KG'S PANEL TODAY!

Now ensconced in Austin for her 30th (out of 30) SXSW, Karen Glauber promises that this year's "I Wrote That Song" panel—scheduled for today @ 12:30pm CDT—will be THE BEST ONE YET! Here are the details from the moderator herself, who is currently charging a hot-stone massage to her room:

“To celebrate my 30th SXSW and fourth year as moderator of the ‘I Wrote That Song,’ panel, songwriter extraordinaire (and dear friend) Dan Wilson will be joining me as the panel's ‘headliner,’ as it were,” Karen writes on her iPhone. “Some of the other panelists have written with Dan: Nada Surf's Matthew Caws (right) and Alex Greenwald and Z Berg (Phases). The other participants, Fran Healy (Travis), Mac McCaughan (Superchunk) and Holly Muñoz, might find themselves co-writing with Dan during the panel.

Special surprises are a signature feature of the panel—might Big Star's Jody Stephens (aka The Nicest Man in Rock) make a return appearance? Could this be the first SXSW to include an audience sing-a-long?”
