WHO WROTE THOSE SIREN SONGS?

New tracks from two of pop's hottest divas dominate the top two spots at iTunes just now. Who wrote and produced those tracks? We're glad you asked.

Republic's Ariana Grande dropped new single "Dangerous Woman" this morning; it immediately zipped to #1 on the iTunes singles chart and is now hitting radio like a tsunami. The song was produced by Max Martin and Johan Carlsson and co-written by Carlsson and Ross Golan. It's the title track for Grande's forthcoming album, due 5/20 and now in preorder.

"NO" is the first shot across the bow from Epic siren Meghan Trainor's sophomore set, Thank You, slated for 5/13 and also in preorder. The song was co-written by Trainor, producer Ricky Reed, who co-executive-produced the album, and J Kash. "NO" sits at #2 at iTunes and had an explosive first week at radio; it debuted Top 30 on the Mediabase Top 40 and Hot AC charts.
