"NO," the feisty new jam from Epic diva and Best New Artist Grammy winner Meghan Trainor, was released on Friday morning and sashayed up the iTunes chart, rising from the 70s that morning to #2 a day later, all while blowing up at Top 40 (where she hit Top 30 in two days), Rhythm and Hot AC (where she's #29).
The only thing keeping her from the #1 spot at the download dispensary: Warner Bros. band Lukas Graham, whose "7 Years" is a bona fide phenomenon. The Danish group's heartfelt groove-pop anthem is also a radio breakout (it's Top 20 at Pop and trending Top 10 at Hot AC). It's been the #1 single in the U.K. for five weeks running.
How long will Lukas be able to fend off the power of "NO"? Stay tuned.
