SXSW BAGS A PAIR OF BIGGIES FOR KEYNOTE SLOTS

We didn’t expect SXSW to ever top Bruce Springsteen as keynote speaker, but not only have they pulled it off, they’ve doubled down. The fest announced this morning that the current President of the United States will appear as part of a Keynote Conversation at SXSW Interactive on 3/11, while future President Michelle Obama will be the opening keynote at SXSW Music on 3/16.

Serious props to Melissa O'Brien at SXSW for landing this pair of superstars.

In other SXSW news, the band schedule is now online here. We hear the First Lady is eager to check out Atomic Stooges at Elysium.
