Shawn Mendes' Scores 1b Streams for Career Milestone

Island's Shawn Mendes just reached 1b streams worldwide, making him the youngest artist in memory to do so.


Mendes' latest single, "I Know What You Did Last Summer" f/Camila Cabello, recently broke into the Top 10 at Pop radio. The official video for the gold-selling track raked in 63m video views, while two-times platinum predecessor "Stitches" peaked at #1 at both Pop and Hot AC radio, and garnered 271m views; his YouTube channel boasts 633m overall.

In other YouTube news, the HITS Daily Double channel boasts at least 11 views, including that time a goat walked by the computer.

But back to Mendes. The pop singer/songwriter is about to embark on a sold-out, headlining world tour, kicking things off with a gig at NYC's Radio City Music Hall on 3/5. See a full list of dates here.
