Kanye West delivered one of his most thrilling live performances on the 2/13 edition of Saturday Night Live, debuting two songs from his brand new album The Life of Pablo, "Highlights" and "Ultralight Beam."
The powerful collaboration around the latter song he closed with, "Ultralight Beam," featured West with a cast that included a 20-plus-person choir whose choreography was thrilling and new, with straight-to-church vocals from singer Kelly Price and The-Dream plus a FIRE verse from Chance The Rapper, who killed his performance.
By the time Kirk Franklin comes out to deliver a sermon and Yeezus lays on the ground...well, see for yourself here:
Kanye was also featured in a reasonably funny skit as well with comedian Kyle Moody, who challenges him to a rap battle. The verse Ye spits is from a track on TLOP called, "I Love Kanye."
