Lana Del Rey is on top, where she’s expected to be on next week’s chart, and it’s amusing to see Ryan Adams’ take on 1989 (one of the aforementioned preorders—it’s due Monday) higher on the chart than Taylor Swift’s.
Singles-wise, the Top 5 is typically heavyweight, with Bieber, The Weekend and Tay Tay, but Ellie Goulding has crashed this exclusive party with the lead single from her upcoming LP, and she may well be poised to join them for real, with a string of smash singles in her resume.
