JOLLY TIMES COMING TO RCA U.K.?

Rumors coming out of the U.K. have Virgin EMI A&R man Adrian Jolly leaving Universal and joining Sony as Head of A&R at RCA. Jolly signed breakout punk duo Slaves last year, as well as multi-platinum singer/songwriter Jake Bugg while working as A&R manager at Mercury—where he worked for present Sony U.K. ruler Jason Iley—in the summer of 2011 (Bugg's debut self-titled album hit #1 on its release in 2012).

The hiring of rock fan Jolly's would likely take the label into heavier territory, just as RCA’s Bring Me the Horizon battles it out for #1 on next week’s chart with their second LP.
