After the surprise announcement of his departure from Apple Music, Ian Rogers has revealed his new destination: Paris-based luxury brands company LVMH, home of Louis Vuitton, Moet & Chandon, Dior, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Bvlgari, TAG Heuer and many more. Rogers will serve as Chief Digital Officer.
And no, he doesn't want to know what you'd like for Christmas.
Asked about the change by The New York Times, Rogers wrote, "I asked my wife the night of the Apple Music announcement: Was that the starting gun or the finish line for me in the digital music race? I decided I’m ready for a new challenge both professionally and personally. I have more to learn and contribute."
