After 13 shows over nine tours, Kenny Chesney had his biggest weekend ever at Gillette Stadium, and set a new record at the home of the New England Patriots. With 60,082 fans on Friday and 60,124 fans on Saturday, the Blue Chair/Columbia Nashville superstar put 120,206 people into the stadium where the No Shoes Nation was named. He first played Gillette Stadium in 2005, and recorded part of his Kenny Chesney Live album in 2006. His relationship with the fans who come every year to the Foxoboro, Massachusetts venue also inspired the 8-time Entertainer of the Year to start the Spread the Love Fund to benefit the amputee victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.
