DELTA RAE STANDS UP

The chorus of outrage against a consistent pattern of racial violence happening in our country is growing, with the horrible events in Charleston prompting several entertainers to step up and use their platform to speak out.

Jon Stewart gave a moving speech filled with brutal truths about racism in the intro of The Daily Show last night saying, "Once again, we have to peer into the abyss of the depraved violence that we do to each other and the nexus of a gaping racial wound that will not heal, yet we pretend doesn’t exist."

North Carolina's own Delta Rae were also moved to action, penning a phenomenal protest song called "All Good People." The band said of the recording:

"Our hearts and prayers are with the families of those killed in Charleston, SC last night. These tragedies have got to STOP...It's time to push our leaders to act. All good people must raise their voices. We need to protect every member of our community from hate and racism. And we need to stop so much of this violence by limiting access to guns...This is not the country we want to be. These actions do not represent our values."
