YE JOLLY OLDE iTUNES U.K. CHARTS

It’s another week of domination by American artists in the U.K.—topping both charts at the moment—and various artists, accounting for six of the Top 10 albums, counting the Pitch Perfect 2 ST.

Taylor Swift’s Kendrick Lamar-enhanced “Bad Blood,” which sat atop the leaderboard a week ago, has been displaced by the latest from fellow Yank Jason Derulo, but her 1989 is hanging around, as is the solo LP from Brandon Flowers of The Killers, who are now bigger in Britain than they are in their home country, interestingly enough. The other Top 10 album belongs to original Pop Idol winner Will Young (XIX/Island), who’s sold consistently in the U.K. since he took the crown in 2002 while remaining utterly obscure in the Colonies.
