YE JOLLY OLDE iTUNES
U.K. CHARTS

Taylor Swift is one of a handful of artists whose every gesture moves the needle on both sides of the Atlantic, and she’s done it again with “Bad Blood,” which not only tops the iTunes singles charts in Britain and America but the video charts as well, while lighting yet another fire under 1989. It’s Tay Tay’s world, and the rest of the occupants of all of the aforementioned charts just live in it. No surprise there—but we were taken aback to discover the degree of Brandon Flowers’ appeal in the U.K., as his new Island solo album propels The Killers’ best of back onto the leaderboard.

Otherwise, it’s business as usual, as the British citizenry’s insatiable hunger for dance hits can be seen by way of five compilation albums in the Top 20 (actually a bit lighter than usual) and the usual assortment of body movers on the singles side. By the way, Fueled by Ramen’s Twenty One Pilots (on WEA International ex-U.S.), the stateside chart-topper, sits at #24 in the U.K.
