P!nk scored the President's Award at last night's BMI Pop Awards, where her pubco, Marty Bandier's Sony/ATV, earned Publisher of the Year with 27 of the most performed songs.
She's seen above middle with fellow honorees Benny Blanco and Noel Zacanella, who were among the Songwriter of the Year recipients. Also earning the latter award were Taylor Swift, Tim Bergling (aka Avicii) and Ed Sheeran. John Legend's "All of Me" was named Song of the Year.
Blanco co-penned records for Maroon 5 and Iggy Azalea, among others, while Zacanella had a hand in Maroon 5, Ellie Goulding and Demi Lovato hits.
A mini-tribute to P!nk featured duo The Weepies and singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile, after which the honoree herself took to the stage, joined by frequent collaborator (and Topline/Green & Bloom founder-chief) Billy Mann, with whom she's seen in the photo above right.
In an interview, P!nk said she valued recognition for her songwriting above all other honors.
