Lava Records chief Jason Flom is (as we’ve noted before) also a devoted do-gooder, and has become ever more involved with The Innocence Project, an organization that provides pro-bono legal assistance using DNA evidence to exonerate people who have been wrongly convicted of violent crimes.
Tomorrow night, at the organization’s “A Celebration of Freedom & Justice” Annual Gala in NYC, Flom serves as Benefit Chairman. See the invitation below for further details (note: reservation button isn't live; contact 212-763-8599 or [email protected] for ticket info).
“It’s a real honor to be Chairman this year,” Flom says, “but the greatest honor is to be able to introduce the 24 exonerees who will be in attendance. When they get up to speak you can hear a pin drop—and their presence really puts the life-saving work of The Innocence Project in context.”
