Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars extend one of the lengthiest chart-topping runs in recent memory, as they keep America dancing and pump up RCA’s TEA. But it’s another RCA act, Walk the Moon, who’ve provided the week’s most compelling storyline, as the band’s crossover hit “Shut Up + Dance” continues to gain strength with a 12% uptick. Elsewhere, Rihanna’s latest bows in the Top 10, as the drumroll increases for the arrival of her latest longplayer, which could happen at any moment.
The comers include “Want to Want Me” from WB’s Jason Derulo (70k, +36%, #19-15) and, in the feel-good story of the week, the controversial (in certain unenlightened sectors) “Girl Crush” from Capitol Nashville’s Little Big Town, which goes #52-17 with 60k, up 137% week-to-week.
