DOWNLOAD THIS: iTUNES MOVES TO MUSE OVER

The ratings momentum for Fox's Empire breaking the 14-million mark this past Wednesday has certainly fueled the fever for the original music on the show, as the Season 1 Soundtrack sits at #1 on the iTunes album chart. Capitol Nashville's Luke Bryan debuts at #2 with Spring Break...Checkin' Out as Kendrick Lamar sits at #4 with the pre-order for To Pimp A Butterfly and Madonna's newest Rebel Heart coming in at #6. Drake (#3) and the 50 Shades of Grey Soundtrack (#5) continue their reigns while brand new Muse (see lyric video below) and Mumford & Sons round out the Top Ten.

On the singles side, Ellie Goulding unseats Mark Ronson for the #1 spot, while Sam Smith's rework of "Lay Me Down" featuring John Legend hovers at #3 and Rihanna/Kanye/McCartney and Ed Sheeran round out the Top Five. Ed Sheeran (#5) and Maroon 5 (#6) and The Weeknd (#7) all have massive staying power and newbies Flo Rida, with "GDFR" (#8) and Mumford & Sons "Believe" (#9) move up in the world. Taylor Swift's "Style" lingers at #10.
