It was a meh week for the singles overall, but a fully awesome week if you were Republic. The 50 Shades tandem of Interscope ringer Ellie Goulding and The Weeknd is hot-hot-hot, as “Love Me Like You Do” (+20%) jumps previous chart-topper Ed Sheeran and Team RiRi to land at #2, while “Earned It” (+18%) moves #9-6. Taylor drops another 1989 cut in “Wonderland,” and it debuts on the big board, right below her “Style.” Finally, Drake hits the Top 10 in week two.
Meanwhile, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars retake the top spot, as “Uptown Funk”—very much the Song of the Winter—passes the 4m mark.
