Heavy breathing is rampant in the U.K., as 50 Shades of Grey dominates both charts. But singles-wise it’s not just about Ellie Goulding anymore; The Weeknd is coming on strong on both sides of the Atlantic leading up to Valentine’s Day weekend.

The other noteworthy arrival is Florence + the Machine (on Island in the U.K.), whose first album in four years just went on preorder, with instant-grat track “What Kind of Man” (complete with a steamy cinematic video) coming on strong; it’s now at #4.

It took more than a year, but Hozier, Florence’s U.K. label mate, is ascending to the rarefied level occupied by Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran—call it newly crowned British royalty.
